Hello,

I'm using a 2009-model MBP (2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, GeForce 9400M active). For some strange reason, the computer won't automatically go into "sleep" mode after I use certain Internet-connected applications (specifically Vuze, and the StarCraft II Beta client for Mac). It goes to screen saver after a certain time, but it won't go to sleep until after I reboot the computer. I checked Activity Monitor, but I'm not seeing any abnormal activity...

Thoughts anyone? Any other Vuze users or StarCraft II beta testers experiencing the same issue?

found this thread researching this issue as well. my early 2008 mac pro octo stopped sleeping after installing SC2 beta. have not found any solutions as of yet.

I get the screen saver but it runs all night. which sucks for my power bill and is going to wear out my displays

anyone got suggestions?

I suddenly have this problem as well. Also, my idle temps are now about 10c higher then they were before.

I'm also having this issue with a 17" core i7 mbp. The only thing you can do is activate the sleep mode manually. I really don't get what is causing this issue. But the starcraft 2 beta was crappy.
