So I've had my cMBP 13" 2012 for about a month now. When I first booted it up and used it it was dead quiet. For some time now there has been a noticeable change to where my fans are constantly audible.

If it sits next to my GFs MBP 2010 13" the difference is clear. With istat pro I can see that my fans are idle at 2000 rpm and from what I can tell this is normal. I've tried the SMC reset but it didn't help. I've recently installed ML and Bootcamp.

Anyone else share this experience?

EDIT: after listening more carefully, it turns out it's the HDD that is making the sound in question. I Have a APPLE HDD HTS547550A9E384, and the sound is coming from the lower right side. Turns out there are more people with this problem. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2766458?start=150&tstart=0
