I've got a MacBook Pro 13" 2015 which I have taken incredibly good care of. It has always worked fine - no issues whatsoever. However, a couple of days ago the fans suddenly went berserk when I was using it exactly as I always do - I was browsing a couple websites at the time. I quickly shut it down, left it a few minutes and then it seemed ok again when I turned it back on.
However, earlier today I was listening to music on iTunes and the sound went really weird; crackly and jittery. My first thought was the speakers had blown or failed. But it was intermittent. I was worried - these things aren't cheap!
I did a SMC reset which is the first time I've ever had to do that and since then it seems to have been fine; sound seems perfect again. Has anyone else encountered this? Should I be worried? Luckily I took out an extended 3-year warranty with the shop I purchased it from, so I am still covered.
