macbook pro off ebay+applecare?

Hi, i recently posted a thread on purchasing a macbook pro off ebay and I decided that I will go that route just because its cheaper, but has anyone bought one that came with applecare? anyone want to enlighten me on any of your experiences with that and how you can actually activate it or w/e. thanks

Lots of people have bought machines off eBay with success - just do a search.

I don't mind eBay for many things, but for laptops I just can't bring myself to do the eBay route with all the obvious pitfalls. I'd rather wait for a model to appear in the refurb store - at least you know you won't get a box full of rocks

Sometimes you even get a new computer with the refurb store anyway.

Ebay is great for Applecare, just buy from a respectable well feedbacked seller, but buying a whole laptop, be careful.
