The 1.67GHz model is $1994.99 and the 1.83GHz model is $2494.99. Both have $150 mail-in rebates right now too which is good until Feb. 7.
Bonus is that Amazon.com doesn't charge sales tax and shipping is free.
Prices after rebate is actually a better deal than Apple's academic discount. For example, the 1.67GHz MBP is $1799 and the 1.83GHz MBP is $2299 for teachers, students, and faculty. Add sales tax to those prices and the price will surely be more than what Amazon.com's price is, unless you live in states that don't charge sales tax.
