Hello,

I hope I'm in the right forum...
I have a 2010 Macbook Pro 13 inch with an Intel i7-2620m Processor. Initially I had Mac Osx 10.6.6 installed and then updated at some point to 10.6.7. I partitioned the hard drive through bootcamp and also have windows installed on the computer, which is what I am currently using due to the fact that the Mac Osx refuses to boot up. Here is the error message I get whenever I try to boot from Mac Osx;

Right before this happened, I switched the start up drive setting in bootcamp, through the control panel in windows, from its default of windows over to mac osx.

I have tried booting off the install disc that came with my computer (10.6.6) but whenever I insert the disc (and hold down C to run from it) I get the apple symbol and nothing happens. I have let it sit for almost an hour and nothing happened.

I would also like to note that sometimes when I try to access files on my Mac drive from windows, my labtop just simply turns off. Don't know what that could mean, but I thought I'd mention it.

I'm don't know much about this sort of stuff, but learn fast and can follow instructions really well so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
