Hey there,

I just have a quick question, is it normal for the MacBook Pro (or any early 2008 Mac notebook) to get really hot when you're running Windows, Linux, or any other OS (I have only tried windows and ubuntu) through Boot camp? That never happens when I am running Macintosh OS X, but it gets like over heated when I am running Windows, do the fans stop working or something? Because it gets heated to the point where you can't lay your fingers on the space between the monitor and the keyboard for more than two seconds, and when you lift the notebook up you find the desk really warm.

Thanks.

Yes, running Windows in Boot Camp will raise the temp significantly
There are a few fan fixes I think
You can use MRoogle to find them

Thanks for the information, guys. And thank you, MacDawg, for the site; I'll give it a try now.
