So i baught a mbp and my warranty is up and the plastic around the border is crooked what do you think caused this. I have been told in another forum that it was proably warped due to the heat on the mbp. Do you think that apple would fix this for me? heres a image below.

no harm in going to an Apple Store. They sometimes do cover things outside of warranty if you're lucky and it's clearly a defect and not user-caused.

The closest Apple store to me is ~2 hours away. :(

Really sucks if you have a problem with an Apple product under warranty. I guess the fact that they overnight everything is pretty sweet, but makes it more difficult for something that may be fixable in an Apple store relatively quickly.

I have a apple store literally right across the street from me in FL
