My cat knocked my MacPro off the table onto the floor, I am not sure if this was the cause, but now....I can push the power button and it starts the Mac but if I take my finger OFF the power button the Mac stops powering. Of course if I hold the power button down too long...it just shuts the puter off anyway. So the problem: I push the power button to start and (normally) i would take my finger off because the power up has started. But the moment I take my finger off the power button it just stops powering up. Please help :) Oh and I love my cat...she is 24 years old and wouldn't even trade her for a new Macbook :) Suggestions from the floor :):)
Thanks,
Phil.
