I just got my mbp the other day and calibrated the battery and all that. The meter always read 100% when it should, but yesterday I unplugged it for a short time and replugged it back in and the meter read 98%. Not a big deal, but after two hours it still read 98%. Now it has been 24 hours and it read 97%. There is no way it could not be charging while plugged in, right? When I unplug it to see if maybe it is just the meter, it says I only have like 2 hours of time left. Before with 100% I was at least getting 3 sometime more.

My battery preferences are on energy savings and I have restarted the computer more than once. Has this happened before, any ideas

To avoid cooking the battery, MBP won't charge almost full battery, it waits until it is down 5 or 10% before it will top it up.
