Macbook Pro Power Taking awhile to 'kick in'

Hi

i have a Dec 2014 MBPr 13". i use it every day all day for work. Lately i noticed when i plug it in the little light in the mag safe doesn't lite orange for a few minutes. it used to be instant. is this an issue?
