hello
i have had the new macbook pro for a week already,
and i like it because of the aluminum design, and i love the keyboard,
BUT i feel as if it's a piece of sh*t, and that it's a Rev A product that'll fall apart.
ALREADY, i have the whole trackpad issue thing, and it's getting annoying.
i love the glass, and the aluminum... but i just don't know.
I WILL exchange it for the same model.. but would it be better to get the old macbook pro from somehwere?
i really love this keyboard... and i love the design... but it's just annoying to have the buggy machine.
i bought it hoping it woulnd't happen... but i was so wrong.
thanks.
the new one just doesn't feel pro.
it's like a bigger macbook.
OH!! btw, are the speakers in which louder? the same?
THANKS!

ALSO: which one is MADE BETTER.
i know the whole unibody thing blah blah blah
but which is better quality, and designed better
as of now... this one is ok... but i just feel so skeptical!!!
the prev generation mbp seems so fixed from bugs and whatnot...
and i am very paranoid and ocd when it comes to these things.

oh good grief - people really need to get a grip.

its like a macbook suddenly because the macbook changed its cosmetics a bit? It still has pretty much the same setup as the old MBP - screen size/resolution, discrete graphics, faster HDD options etc etc.

whats not 'pro' about it? Stop being paranoid and just decide if the specs deliver what you want, rather than whether you get to wear a special t-shirt saying 'i have a pro'.

sheesh.

don't get the old one IMO. Mac people are always obsoleting the tech way too quickly, and putting themselves on odd waiting lists for 'refreshes' 15 seconds after the previous model has been announced.

If you aren't happy with it, take it back and get a refund. Personally I doubt you'd be more happy with the old MBP. Maybe wait for the next one - thats a fun game too.

Not everyone is a Rev. A-type person. There's nothing wrong with that, but it sounds like you'd be happier with the old one.

You should keep this in mind before you ever order another Rev. A product.

Definitely the previous gen, especially when you can get them at reduced price. I'm a big fan of the classic MBP.
