MacBook Pro Price drop ??? Just now?

OK,

So I have been waiting to get a pro and I knew the prices.

The prices on the Apple store app are what they have been...

On Apple.com they dropped...

Basic Pro w/retna is $1,199 not 1,299 but it still shows 1,299 on the Apple app.

15"pro is now $1,899

Was this announced or is it a glitch or what???

I see no mention of it anywhere

Adding the MacBook Airs all dropped $50 each on Apple.com... still old price on Apple Store app

You're seeing the education store prices on apple.com. At least those are the price discounts between the regular store and education store prices.

It might be a glitch since a few people reported such "price drops" over the last few days.

Bad news is, it's indeed the education prices.
