Is this a good deal guys, I'm thinking about picking it up for my Brother for his 21st.

It seems to be a better deal than through apple. I calculated it out in USD and its about 2,522. The MacBook Pro in store is 2,499 plus tax so its about 2,700. I'm not sure how it is priced in your Apple store but for here it would be almost 200 cheaper.
