My Trackpad got stuck and will no longer click down and only accepts the tap to click. It Does not move at all. This is on a early 2011 Macbook Pro. ANy Suggestions would be Helpful.
Also, I have just installed a Seagate moments xt 500gb and the Sudden Motion Sensor does not seem to be functioning. I've not heard any clicks and then I got in the car to go somewhere and when I got there I went into disk utility and THere were a lot of errors and I had to repair the disk.

ANy suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Never done this so I don't know if it would work..but try a suction cup and pull up on it.

expanding battery?

Suggestions? Bring it to Apple and have them fix it. There's no magic key combination you can press to fix your problems... (although, maybe there is, resetting NVram and SMC, but I doubt that will help).

Also:
Put the original HD back in.

Have you tried restarting your computer?

Exactly what errors did you get and how did you find them?
