Hi all,
My MacBook Pro 2010 13" 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo randomly "beeps" when I attempt to wake it from sleep, at which point it will not wake and continues to beep until I power it off completely. If I get lucky, when I power it back on, it resumes where it left off when I had it sleep.
I've tried taking out the extra RAM I've put in the past, which did not fix the problem. I've taken it to the Genius Bar, and they said they could not find anything wrong using their diagnostic software (although they hinted there COULD be something wrong they would discover if I took it in for repair).
There was also an incident where the display became completely distorted, which makes me think this could be a serious hardware issue.
Anyone have a similar experience with their MBPs and if so, what did you do? Thanks for all your help!
