When I turn on my 15-inch Mid 2014 MacBook Pro it often goes to sleep very quickly after I turn it on. This happens both on the lock screen and after I log on.

It only goes to sleep on battery power, when I plug in the power adapter I can wake it from sleep using the power button.

Looking at the log, here are entries from the powerd process:
Code:

2020-04-29 21:41:34.341125+0100 localhost powerd[77]: [powerd:sleepWake] Entering Sleep state due to 'Low Power Sleep'

I have tried resetting the SMC, unfortunately this doesn't make any difference.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated!

I've been having this problem as well. My Macbook will just randomly go to sleep mode, but then if I plug it back in, it will start up again. Have you found a solution?
