I'm thinking of getting the razer mamba, but can I connect it with my macbook pro (2011) just like I did with the wireless keyboard, or do I have to plug in the receiver and use up 1 usb slot?

If it works anything like the Razer Naga Epic, which I think it does, then yes you'll have to connect it via USB for the wireless dongle to get the signal from the Razer Mamba... the Mamba isn't bluetooth, so I'm not sure how else it would connect in your thinking.

The wireless keyboard, if it's the Apple one connects via Bluetooth I believe. If you want BT wireless Razer mouse, then the Orochi is for you.

thanks, looks like I'll stick with my wired imperator, as the Orochi has only 2000dpi which isn't much of a difference from the apple magic mouse
