Every time I turn on my MacBook, this folder called "Recovery Files" keeps on appearing in my trash bin. I delete it, then it appears again when I turn my MacBook on the next time. Does anyone know what is it and how I can make my laptop stop doing this?

Does any harm to have the laptop always on?

Information:
MacBook Pro
Mac OS X (10.6.7)

Thanks. So some more help if possible .. to some program / s to correct errors or confirm qe arise and respond as if everything is in one day?!
