I am looking to pick up a MBP and I am considering getting a refurb from apple. My question is, when was the refreshed MBP released?
I see that they have models going all the way back to 2010 and would prefer to have the most current body if I end up getting a refurb.

Just know it won't be this year. If anything sometime next year. No one knows, not even the people working in the Apple stores know about it.

I would suggest getting a refurbished model now, it will be at least 6 months until the refresh is released.

A refresh is still a long time coming only CPU upgrade should show sooner.
Just pick one of the new ones. You have to look closely but they offer enough info to know which one you will get. It is no gamble or anything like that. Just pick the right one.

People here have very poor reading skills, pardon the two above posters.

The newer MBP's were released in early 2011. The 24th of February to be exact. Not that you could have easily googled this yourself.

Thanks guys.
I actually saw that Feb 24th date of wiki, but for some reason I thought there was a significant upgrade recently.
I will look at those Feb 2011 rebfurb models and see what I can find.
