So I come home and see that my MBP's battery is dead. I plug it in and it begins to start-up normally but shuts down midway through. I press the power button and keys several times but nothing happens. The weird part is the fans still run and it still gets very hot. When you close it the sleep indicator light still turns on. Please help!

Note: I tried to reset the PRAM but nothing happens.

Note2: Its the low end 15' model (arrandale)

You NEVER should have tried turning it back on! That can REALLY mess up your battery. Charge it fully (calibrate it) then power it back on. Then you should be fine.
