MacBook Pro Release 12 February!!!

This morning I was thinking of the Apple event I'm going to next tuesday. And suddenly I thought to myself, this is when the MacBook Pro's are released!!
Here's the link, the event is in Holland called 'Pro Series'.

An event for masterclasses in audio, video and photo. But I think because that is a 'Pro' day, the new MacBook Pro's might me released that day:cool:!

What do you guys think?
And who is also joining me to the event:p?

I don't think it will have anything to do with this event, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a MBP update on Tuesday.
 
Not a bad theory.

I thought that they were waiting for 10.5.2 because support for the new chips was in the update. So an announcement just after 10.5.2, shipping shortly thereafter.

I'm really waiting for the iMac as my parents need a computer.

Think 10.5.2 can come later then Macbook Pro because the Macbook Air also can use Multitouch with 10.5.1:rolleyes:they can trow in SSE4 support later I guess. Wouldn't be surprised if it got updated next Tuesday!

But is anyone joining me:(?
 
I doubt that we will see a MacBook Pro update next week. In my opinion, concerning the latest rumors postet here at MacRumors, I believe that we will see them on the rumored Event on the 26th. It would match to the PowerBook/MacBook Pro release cycle (about 8-9 months) and two events with releases in a time frame of two weeks would sound a bit strange to me.

+1, as much as I would like to see a MBP release next week, I think a release at the end of the month with the rumored event for the iPhone SDK is much more likely.
 
Sadly, I'm feeling the end of the month too. Combining the SDK with a MBP release and an Apple TV 2 official unveiling would pack more punch and make more of a statement...
 
I do agree that it would be too close to the release of the Macbook Air. Maybe if there is the event at the end of the month they will be announced and shipping in 2 weeks. We'll see!
 
its going to be such a minor update, that apple won't even make a squeak about it. penryn processors, and thats it
 
there are actually rumors about Feb 12 release from HARD MAC and and another source. So Feb 12 is very possible.
 
Is it me or is this Deja Vu ? :D could of sworn we were talking about a release for last tuesday and the one before that, and before that, and before that.....on and on.


lol we never get it right...it's always if not this one...maybe the next

tuesday. LMAO :rolleyes: :apple:
