My MacBook Pro 16” that I bought new in June 2020 had a battery that was draining very rapidly. My local Apple store agreed that it needed a new battery and I left it with them to send for repair. They told me that it would 3-5 days and they would ship it to my house. It has now been almost a month and after multiple phone calls and requests to talk to a manager I still have no idea when it will be done and returned to me. The only explanation I have been given is that there are delays at the repair center. Has anyone else had this problem? I would appreciate any advice on how to proceed to get my computer back as soon as possible.
 
I work at an AASP and that is 100% true. Not sure what is going on but it’s taking forever. Hope this helps.
