I bought my mbp a little over 2 weeks ago. I went on vacation last week and when I was taking luggage out of my car my bag fell on the concrete. My mbp has a slight dent on the bottom right corner near the hinge on the screen. If I brought this into the apple store would they replace it or would they say its my fault. Also would they switch out my hd drive since I put a 1 tb drive in or would I need to do that myself? Is it even a problem worth worrying about, it makes a slight noise when opening sometimes?

Accidents and damage are your responsibility. They won't replace it free.

Well, it is your fault. Applecare only covers defects in hardware or workmanship. It's a warranty service and not an insurance service. As for the noise when opening it, if that was there before hand you might be able to convince them to take it in. Either way they're going to suspect the dent is the cause and probably point you at a costly repair or the door, whichever you prefer. It hurts to see a new computer damaged, but it's unfortunately something you're stuck with.
