macbook pro resizes fonts and icons!!! why?

I just got a new 13 macbook pro and am loving it and for some reason, the icons and fonts are resizing, is it something i am doing without realizing or what?

Where are they resizing / scaling up/down?

The Dock*? The Menu bar? The Desktop? Ina Finder or Safari or another application window?

Can you maybe make a screenshot?

it happens at random. Its like the the firefox automatically zoomed in. Some when I have a folder open in icon view, it zooms in to make the icons larger.

Do you accidentally use the scroll wheel (or trackpad scroll - two fingers) while you press the CTRL key?

And again, can you post a screenshot and attach it to your post?
