I am working in an IT helpdesk and was brought this laptop that is stuck in an update loop and cannot log into the user or admin accounts. It tries to start an update on any login attempt and gets stuck on a progress bar for a very long time and then fails to update as there is not enough space on the hard drive for the update. I need to recover the user data which I already did through connecting an external hard drive and moving the user account into it in recovery mode. The user also need their notes that are stored in the notes application. I was wondering if it is possible to recover those through a similar method as I cannot find where the notes are stored?
