The cMBP unibody design dates back to 2008. It lasted for 4 years (and is still around today with the mid-2012 13" cMBP).

The rMBP only came out in 2012. I don't think it's reasonable to redesign it until at least next year. And even so, I think the current design is already lovely enough. It doesn't need to get any thinner, and it doesn't look outdated.

If it ain't broke why fix it?

With core M chips already out there, the airs may finally get retina (lower power consumption) and the pros could get thinner (same reason).

It's plausible.

Apple will shave off a few more millimeters to the design, add Broadwell and maybe one or two other minor design enhancements - that's about it, imo. Not much in terms of redesigns.
