hi everybody, I have a MacBook Pro Retina 15" mid 2015 using it with a Thunderbot To Ethernet Adapter for Internet access. So no wifi is needed and I disabled wifi connection on my MacBook.

After every reboot wifi is automatically turned on. Is this normal behavior?

Thanks for your answers

Regards Leschy

Just tried with mine from '12 and it does the same thing. Google and you will find some suggestions

My 2015 13" does not do this (i.e. if I turn Wifi off using the menu bar icon it stays off after reboot).

Have you tried setting the Wifi interface to "inactive" in the network preferences?

Thanks for your answers. I tried to deactivate wifi. No problem so far but after rebooting the machine wifi turns on automatically.

Which OS do you use? I have the problem only with El Capitan. With Sierra it works. But I can't update because of other reasons

I use Sierra. I think I never tried this on El Cap, so that may well be the problem.
