Macbook Pro Retina Display Hinge Loose?

Hi,

Can you guys just check if your display is a little loose. What I mean is you can pull the display towards you but then when you let it go, it returns to the original position. Kind of hard to explain here.

I just need to know if this is normal before going into the store thanks.

If you pull it towards you and it goes back to the previous position that usually mean the hinge is too tight rather than loose.

On the other hand if you mean pulling it up (from a closed position) and the display goes back down to the closed position than yes, it does that on mine as well. The hinge has variable tension- it's loose in and near the closed position in order to allow you to pull the display open without too much effort while keeping the weight down.
