Macbook Pro Retina Manufacture Error?

The keyboard cutout on my Macbook Pro is ~1mm closer to the edge at the bottom than at the top of the cutout. I think the whole top right corner of the unibody may be slightly lower than the rest. Just wanted to know if this was unusual or a frequent problem, or if anybody had seen it before.

I asked the Apple Genius Bar while it was there for a screen replacement and they just said it was interesting, but nothing more.

I would imagine thats within tolerance

As a QC analyst myself (pharma not electronics) I would imagine that there is a tolerance that has to be met and that this is within it.

When the Genius said "interesting" he probably had to stop himself saying "boring".

why not take a measuring device to the Apple store and check for yourself?

Get a replacement case.

It seem unusual.

Is the left edge of the case before it dips down and the keyboard not even? Or where is it off?

Can you post a pic of the entire keyboard from above?
