MacBook Pro Retina Popping noise

There is a popping coming from the right speaker when it is not in use (no audio) at random times. Sometimes it doesn't happen, sometimes it happens 10 times in one minute, sometimes once every half hour, etc etc..

Its starting to drive me crazy, anyone have any ideas what it could be? I know if I take it to the Apple store they are going to give me the "we can't replicate the issue" bs.

Not sure what the problem is but that would drive me crazy too.

I understand your concern over the "we can't replicate this issue" bs as I had the exact same right at the beginning of the fan issue before the update.

Best thing to do if you can get a video of the problem happening on your phone and use that as evidence.

In my case it turned the store manager from saying "Maybe it's meant to do that" to "Oh wow ok that is not normal..."
