MacBook Pro Running Choppy with External Display After Updating to Tahoe

My MacBook Pro has been running really smoothly since updating to macOS Tahoe — except when I connect an external monitor. As soon as I plug one in, the performance becomes noticeably choppy.


Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I only started noticing it after installing the new OS.

no issues here with my dell. check your display settings, make some changes there... then go back to what you prefer. see it that helps.
