I opened up the Macbook to change the trackpad and now it's running really slow for everything and the fans are loud just to even boot up. What might have gone wrong? It's a Macbook Pro Early 2011.

I had to remove the battery in order to replace the trackpad. That's the only other thing that was removed.

When it's booted does it detect the battery?

Even if it is, I'd honestly reseat both the battery and the trackpad connections. While you're in there make sure you didn't accidentally knock another connection loose.

Well i took it to the apple store and it was an expensive left palm sensor fix. Anyway I can attempt to fix this myself?
