ok, i know this is kind of futuristic and apple doesn't usually do this kind of things but with 2 models on iphone and 6 macbook pro models i was wondering.....

Imagine a macbook pro without the optical drive:

their would be so much space and with the new battery we could use so much more powerful macbook pro:

1. 1 terabyte macbook pro
2. nvidia280m properly ventilated ( i know it's power hungry but we have a 7hours battery notebook right now)
3. mobile quad ( same as above)
4. i know ppl still want opticals but me and a all bunch of people use it 1 a year for osx reinstalling and it's takes so much space

maybe it's just my architecture mind thinking about space but this could pretty much revolutionize the way notebooks are made
