Has anyone experienced in the last couple of months, Safari having a high battery impact? With 1 webpage open it is hovering between 15 and 29.3 thus making it appear in the battery menu. I've never had high usage from Safari before, and I run no extensions.

Does it depend on which single webpage, not all webpages are even remotely the same...and no, I haven't seen any non-web-page specific behaviour like that.

It does to an extent, however websites like this one are still hovering around the 30 mark, which is higher than I expected and remember from when i had Yosemite.

I haven't had any major issues with Safari as of yet, but Chrome is awful on your battery. I usually keep about 5 or 6 tabs open in Safari. My energy impact is 15.4.
