Safari keeps bouncing in the dock and eventually stops responding. Any ideas? I cant even tell you the version because I cannot get it open. :( Been happening for a while now, it works sometimes and then it doesnt.

Go to the Applications folder and right click on Safari and select GET INFO to see the actual version of it.
What Mac OS X version do you got?
Does it also happen in another, even temporarily created, user account?
What about deleting the com.apple.safari.plist file in Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Preferences /?

Version 5.1.2 and Im running 10.7.2.

Theres only one account on my laptop just mine and I will try deleting the file. I cant even reinstall it because it says its part of Mac OSX.. thats pissing me off.

If you upgrade to OS X Lion 10.7.3 then you update to Safari 5.1.3. Maybe this will fix your issue?

Im downloading now..I hope this works or else I might even downgrade back to snow leopard. My lion experience has been slow and buggy. No offense to anyone enjoying it either. Just me.
