Hey guys, I've been experiencing some problems with my macbook pro and was wondering if you guys had any ideas. It's a 2.2ghz SR MBP, I got it Sept 2007. Lately, my laptop will randomly shut down on me. At first I thought it was due to overheating because I was watching a HD clip on youtube, but the second time it happened while I was writing an essay in Word. The weird thing is, after it turns off the charger indicator goes from being fully charged (green) to red, and it won't turn on again for a few minutes. After that, when I turn it on all the fans are on really high, and the battery has gone from 100% to 0% and when I check coconut battery I have an extra cycle on the battery. I took it into the apple store because I have apple care, but they said they didn't see anything wrong and said I would have to leave it with them so that they can try to replicate the issue, but I have 4 final essays to write so I need my computer..They just gave me a brand new adapter. This was a couple days ago, and it hasn't happened again since but in case it does, I'd like to know if similar cases have been documented so I can get Apple to fix it. Please help!
