Hi last night I closed the lid of my macbook pro running 10.5 OSX. This morning I opened it and the screen is not coming on even though the computer still seemed to be on. So I shut the computer down and when I turn it on I can hear the processor however the screen still stays black and I am not seeing anything. I removed the battery and made sure that it is plugged in and all that seems fine. The lights on the battery are all on aswell. It's annoying because because all my work is on this computer and I cant access it.

For starters you could plug in an external screen so you can access and backup your files.

I have the time capsule so luckily that's not a problem. I don't know where to get an external screen but I will try anyway.
