help! the colors on my new macbook pro screen have gone reddish and ugly. it is only obvious when looking at photos or movies.. I already tried universal access and normal contrast, but it doesnt help, its like the baseline colors have been altered.

try PRAM reset. (press P-R-COMMAND-OPTION as soon as you get the boot sound and let go after you hear the boot sound again)

not sure if it will help but doesn't hurt to try.
