I have a early 2015 MacBook Pro Retina.

Apple just replaced the logic board, the screen and the battery.

While watching Netflix tonight I noticed the screen is flickering. You can see the colors lightly change on the characters faces. This does not happen on my roommates MacBook Air.

I tried resetting the pram, smc etc. anyone run across this before?

On 10.14.2

[doublepost=1546933983][/doublepost]I have a 2015 without the Vega or graphic card option if that helps. Lol

I would take it straight back to Apple. The replaced parts are covered under repair warranty for 90 days. Get it swapped whilst you can

According to the other thread, it looks like it’s a 10.14..2 issue. What do you think?

Possibly, although if you have an Apple Store nearby, I would still take it in. They can test the hardware for you. I’m not sure the Apple Hardware Test will cover the display issue. A

If you have a Time Machine backup, you could try restoring.

I do but I’m currently in a move to another state for a job. I’ve had to go back to Apple 5 times in last 2 weeks. Just 4 days ago Bc they forgot to put 2 screws back in on the bottom of the machine. Getting real annoying now.

I’ll try restoring

Are subtitles enabled by chance? If so, try toggling them off and see if that flickering still happens.

Whoa. It’s almost nearly gone when I turn them off. What’s going on?

I think its a bug in Safari. I haven't tried Chrome yet, but I have the same issue with Netflix on a 2018 MBA. Subtitles cause the top and bottom of the screen to flicker when the subtitles come on and go away. Its strange.

Just to follow up. I used Chrome last night while watching Netflix with subtitles on. No flickering at all. Must be some weird thing with Safari, hopefully an update fixes it. To clarify, my screen was only flickering at the top and bottom (black bar areas), only when subtitles were enabled, while using Safari. When using Chrome, there is no screen flicker.

All this talk about flicker reminded me of this

I noticed my flicker on the characters faces. So when I looked at the skin tone, sometimes it would flicker and get darker, lighter then go back to normal.
