I have a 2008 macbook pro 4.1

A few days ago i started having problems with the screen. It is like the screen is covered with dots. All letters and images kinda look like they are heavily pixalated.

Restarting does nothing to resolve it.

Any idead? Graphics card faulty?

If you boot holding down the Option key so that you get the OS chooser, do you still see it? Indicating that it's unlikely software. Try booting into Apple Hardware test (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1509) and see if you learn anything.

Good luck!

I just remembered about the hardware test.

There was an error in the VideoController. It is back to normal now. But i wonder for how long.
