Macbook Pro Screen Problem

I see a a tiny green dot on my laptop, I taught maybe it can be dirt causing the problem, but that didn't work. Any idea what can it be?
 
it may be a dead pixel. Some people have had some luck in gently (real gentle) rubbing the screen to massage back to life
