LP154WP2-TLA2
LP154WP2-TLA3
LP154WP2-TLA4
LTN154BT02
LTN154BT03

B154PW04 V.4
B154PW04 V.6
B154PW04 V.7

N154C6-L01
N154C6-L02

The N154C6 model is not compatible with the rest above it. Powerbookmedic are one of many websites that aren't aware that this is an issue. If you try to put an N154C6-L02 into a machine that has an LTN154BT02 in it, or vice versa, the LCD frame will not line up with the display assembly!

I've written about this before. http://rossmanngroup.com/blog/?p=21

Most sites get away with this because less than 10% of all A1226 or A1260 model Macbook Pros use that N154C6 LCD. It means they likely aren't selling much of the part if they have not encountered this problem yet. If they sold 100 of those in a month, they'd have at least 3 disgruntled customers over it. With A1226 and A1260, you cannot skate by without mentioning if you are selling a regular model LCD or a reverse frame model like the N154C6, because the display assemblies are different on the exact same model #s.

Also, beware "flat rate" charges. The A1150/A1211 LCDs cost about half what the A1226/A1260 ones do now.

My model had a LTN154BT03 in it.

but i have been having problems with the screen I replaced it with. When it wake from sleep the screen flashes. Also the brightness levels are messed up.

I noticed that level 2-16 change the brightness normally from low to high. But when I go down to level one the brightness slowly fades up and going down to zero makes it brighter that the brightness of level 16.

do have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks
