Hi guys,

I just sent my macbook pro away to apple to have the screen replaced under warranty after it began manifesting problems (the infamous white blurry spots and also dust under the top layer). They are replacing the entire screen.

What do you think my chances are of getting a free upgrade to an LED model screen? Is this even possible? The original 'puter was a SR macbook pro with the HD (1920 X 1200) screen option. I only ask because I know the HD screen comes in LED standard now and wonder if they keep old parts around for replacement jobs like this.

Thanks in advance for any info!
