MacBook Pro screen similar to iPad screen?

I have the iPad mini 5 and a Macbook 12 inch. I noticed that the iPad screen is deeper dark mode and more comfortable to look at night while the MacBook irritates my eyes and looks different when increasing and decreasing the brightness, making it uncomfortable for my eyes. Do the new Macbook Pros or iMacs have more of an iPad screen?

Hard to answer that one. Best thing to do might be to check around with some of your film colleagues and get them to let you look at the kind of new MBP or iMac you're interested in. Pretty popular in your business.
