I love the auto-brightness feature of the MBP, but it seems teh location of the sensors is too close to the screen. So, if I'm viewing a primarily white webpage (like Mac Rumors... hehe) the sensors see the added light, and adjust the screen "appropriately".

Is there a way to de-sensitize the sensors, so that I'm not blinded while browsing in the dark? Or do I have to shut the sensor off and stop whining?
