I ordered a stock glossy base model and it says estimated arrival date is like november 3rd
 
17" Nov. 13.... bummer

I ordered the 17" MBP glossy and it has an estimated ship date of November 7th and I opted for the faster shipping. Says estimated delivery by November 13th..... and I ordered mine just mere hours, if that, after release.
I hope that is just a conservative estimate! The delivery date should actually be November 9th since I opted for 2 day shipping.
 
i ordered mine today...(15 in 2.16 w/glossy) and my ship date is nov. 7. can't be here soon enough!!!!
 
i also did the faster shipping, if that gives anyone some insight


i don't know why mine says cto, unless the stock is the matte screen, and the glossy is cto
 
BTO Macbook Pro 15.4" 2.33GHz, Ship date October 31st, expedited shipping gives me an arrival date of November 2nd.
 
Some folks on this board actually have their 15" C2D MBPs already... they got them from Apple stores. I am thinking the 17 inchers are a litttle behind the 15 inchers. I ordered the glossy too. Maybe that is why they are slow??
 
Ordered 2.33 15in, 3gb, 160gb this afternoon w/overnight shipping. Ship date is Nov. 3rd.
 
I ordered mine on October 24th (the release date) at 7AM PDT as soon as the Apple Store was up and running. It said 2-4 Business Days. My estimated shipping date is October the 30th. But what I have experienced with Apple in the past is that, if they estimate 2-4 Business Days it will be only shipped on the 4th Business Days. Same thing happened with the iMac, I bet I was one of the first ones to order that morning as well. Sure enough it only shipped on Monday. I guess they do that because they have a weekend ahead of them to ship these items on the following week, at the same time giving people the hope that it will be shipped in 2 Business Days.

I just checked apple.com and their estimated date as of right now is 1-3 Business Days, which means that it will only be shipped on the following Monday as well.

That is so wrong LOL! I am here bitting my nails! How dare they do that to me! :eek:

BTW I ordered it standard with glossy screen.
 
I failed to mention that I ordered it with a student discount too. Not sure if that matters or not. Hope not! Last student order shipped very very fast.
I've waited this long for the C2D version so a few more days won't kill me even though it will feel that way! :)

Deliver: 15 Nov

I hope it comes sooner than that...

I think it will be early but no more than a day or two.
I hope to pickup from courier depot to save another day.

i used student discount for the mbp in my sig, ordered on 24th, est. shipping 31st, delivery 7th...

god i hope its quicker than that :/

Ordered 8am PST day it was announced, shipping Oct 31, priority shipping, arriving nov 3.

For those ordering the 17". it was always listed as shipping a week later than the 15" models.
 
ordered 9:00 EST the day they became available. was scheduled to ship 10-31 and receive 11-2, but i got an e-mail from apple that they changed it. it shipped TODAY and i will receive it the 31st! :D bought it with the ADC student discount. BTO

Nearly identical story (ADC as well) - machine with the exact same specs minus iWork. Hasn't shipped yet, though, estimated ship date is 31st. Here's to hoping that not *too* many people ordered in the 30 mins between your order time and mine :p
 
I order my C2D MBP today: 2.16, 2 GB, Matte Screen, 120GB, and a printer (free with student discount and $100 rebate). My estimated ship date is Oct 31 and it's suppose to arrive Nov. 7. I selected standard (free) shipping. My printer shipped today and will arrive tomorrow.

My MBP can't get here soon enough. I've waited since Feb to get this.

And PS: My girlfriend rules. I was at a dealership yesterday to get some warrenty work done on my car and to have the inspection done. Well, I needed new brake pads and rotors to pass. She paid for them so I'd have enough in my one account to pay for my MBP today. She's a sweetheart!!!
