How delayed is 2021 MacBook Pro shipment?… - Apple Community

This thread tried to discuss the situation with Apple's shipment delay's and one posted:

And I replied :

this took place 10 years ago in 2012.
had nothing to do with a “virus”

And apparently that kind of information is too hot for Apple Discussion forums. They censored the reply 4 or 5 different times before banning my account from the forums.

What is the deal with these fourm moderators? Does Apple think they can literally control what people say and think by censoring speech online? Why would this be too hot for discussion? It's a fact you can look it up, there was significant delays in the shipments of the Macbook pro in 2012... There was no China or Virus to blame it on then. But according to Apple if you post that, you've crossed a line.

Please link to what you're referencing?

I vaguely recall, but imagine the problems in 2012 are vastly different and unrelated to the problems in 2021 and this year due to supply chain, covid etc.

Last February, 2.3 million lost power in Texas on account of snowstorms. Then last August, over a million lost power in southern states due to Hurricane Ida. But the hurricane couldn't have happened because it's impossible for the same effect to have different causes at different times, according to the OP's reasoning, so it must have been an August snowstorm.
