Hi there

I am experiencing random shutdowns (e.g. when i transport/move) my 2011 Macbook Pro. Example scenario: i close the lid to enter sleep mode for instance when Im about to leave work, put it into my bag and drive. I get home, take it out and its off (battery fully charged - led indicator shows).

Now when I switch it on again, i hear the machine humming for about 2 seconds until it switches off again. Sometimes a second try will switch it on and i see the loading bars and the macbook trying to reload my previous session - only to restart the machine once more.

Sometimes I can only get it to start by plugging in the power adapter or resetting my SMC.

Has anybody ever experienced this? Any suggestons, tips or advice would be highly appreciated.
