I bought my 15inch core i7 Macbook pro about 8 months ago from US... in the last 20-25 days a problem showed up... The screen of my laptop just goes black but the keyboard light stays on..after i turn it off pressing the power button there is also a small "Click" Sound.. when i start again there is this message that my Mac has been shut down unexpectedly... and there is this huge list of threads but one of the key words that catch my eyes are.. "

panic(cpu 2 caller 0x9d4c97): NVRM[0/1:0:0]:Read Error 0x00000100: CFG

also i managed to find a pattern..this happens everytime i start using macbook after it was in Sleep mode...and also while while using some critical softwares like iMovie or Motion 5... i took it to the only Apple service centre in my country..they installed my OS again and did some hardware inspection and told me everything was fine...the nothing has changed.. what to do??

It is due to a kernel panic (you could say it's like a blue screen in Windows)

Try to log the kernel panic (How to log kernel panics) and post the results here. This will give more info on why the panics are happening.

I'd backup your data in Time Machine, then reinstall OSX.

What if you backup the problem with it? Nothing gained then...

Already backed up my files and installed OSX onece..didnt help... as far as i got to learn from the panic reports that NVRM is causing it, is that somthing related with my NVDIA chipset, currently i have disable my discreet Graphics card and using the Integrated one and no blackouts have ocurred since then, But here is the Panic report- please see if u can find anything

It is due to a kernel panic (you could say it's like a blue screen in Windows)

What if you backup the problem with it? Nothing gained then...

And if the problem is not in the backup, he wins. At worst, he's no better off. Maybe it's because I've used Windows computers for so long...but when there are random OS glitches, reinstalling the OS is high on the priority list.
